Network View Specifics

The network view is the main view used in IMS. It shows network information with a focus on wireless technologies. As in the section “Choosing data visualisation options”, Assets and IP devices can be coloured by different values. Following is a specification of the different “Colour By” options and their associated colourings. If these colourings are not suitable for your suite, please contact FTP OTSC for help with customisation.

  • Green: 95-100% Connectivity
  • Yellow: 50-95% Connectivity
  • Orange: 1-49% Connectivity
  • Red: 0% Connectivity    
• Latency
  • Green: <= 50ms
  • Orange: 51ms to 99ms
  • Red: >= 100ms
• Noise
  • Green <= -95dBm
  • Yellow: -76dBm to -94dBm
  • Red: >= -75 dBm
• RSSI (received signal strength indicator)
  • Green: >= -75dBm
  • Yellow: -84dBm to -76dBm
  • Red: <= 85dBm
• Tx Rate
  • Green: >= 36 Mbit/s
  • Yellow (gradient): 1 Mbit/s to 36 Mbit/s
  • Red: <= 1 Mbit/s
• Rx Rate
  • Green: >= 36 Mbit/s
  • Yellow (gradient): 1 Mbit/s to 36 Mbit/s
  • Red: <= 1 Mbit/s
• SNR
  • Green: >= 15dB
  • Orange (gradient): 5dB to 15dB
  • Red: <= 5dB
• SINR (LTE only)
  • Green: >= 12.5dB
  • Orange (gradient): 7dB to 12.5dB
  • Red: <= 7dB
• RSRP (LTE only)
  • Green: >= -85dBm
  • Orange (gradient): -112dBm to -85dBm
  • Red: <= -112 dBm
• RSRQ (LTE only)
  • Green: >= -6dB
  • Orange (gradient): -11dB to -6dB
