Filtering and Finding Assets

In the centre panel, find the Assets module and change to the list tab. The List tab has a search box that allows a user to enter any identifying information to locate an Asset or IP Device in the list of Assets / IP Devices. MAC , IP, tag , name, and type can be used to search for the device that you require.  

If you click the icon that looks like a dump truck, you can change the way the search logic works, you can choose from: Asset Types, Asset Tags , IP Device Tags and IP Device Types.

You can also selectively show/hide assets by clicking the show / hide indicator that looks like an eye.
